So sad to learn Joyce has passed on. She was a very special lady and I so enjoyed knowing her in my life as a child in Piopio and later while teaching at St Jo's. She had a lovely sense of fun and a gentle nature. Her hands, clever with flowers. I am thinking of her children, grandchildren and all her extended family, especially tomorrow as they come together to pay tribute. Eternal rest Grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen. Melanie Brown (nee Hallam, formerly Bird).
So very sorry to hear about Joyce’s passing. What great childhood memories I have of family get togethers. Please accept my sincere condolences to you all at this very sad time.
