At Beattie Home, with family, on Monday, 11th August 2025. In his 104th Year. Much loved husband of the late Joan. Dearly loved father of Joy (dec), Lynne (dec) and Erin and their families. Much loved by all his family and friends. In accordance with Laurie’s wishes a private cremation has taken place. Laurie’s memorial service will be held at the Southern Lounge, Otorohanga Club, on Friday 15th August at 1pm. Sending our love to the Cowan family. Laurie was a kind, humble gentleman with a great sense of humour. Laurie was community minded and as our school bus driver, connected with many families over the years. Laurie always had time for a yarn, a smile for those in need. It has been many, many years since we connected with Laurie, however we remember him fondly. He always had a cheeky grin and glint in his eye.
