BECK, John Kevin, on Sunday 28 April 2024. Peacefully at Radius Windsor Court, Ohaupo. Beloved husband of the late Edna for 63 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Philip and Tracey, Kay and Phill. Wonderful grandfather of Craig and Hana, Melissa and Denny, Campbell, Anna, Jade and Reece and great grandchildren Alicia, Ira and Desmond. A Service for John will be held on Friday 3rd May at Otorohanga Baptist Church at 11am, followed by a private cremation. The family and John deeply appreciate the care he received from the staff at Beattie Home and his short time at Radius Windsor Court, Ohaupo. The fact that Uncle Johns passing is so soon after Aunty Edna shows how very deep and solid their connect was/is.
Uncle Johns smirks, smiles and pranks were always a highlight of visiting Otorohanga over the years and I have many fond memories of the laughs we had together. While this must be a difficult time saying good bye, we can feel at peace that these two love birds, one Aussie and one Kiwi can now continue their time together💏
